A21 Clarity-SQL has a few key differences.

Today A21 Clarity-SQL
runs on all versions of Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server,
Windows Vista, Windows 2008 Server and Windows 7. We
just require that the latest service packs be applied to
the respective O/Ses.
What kind of database
does A21 Clarity-SQL use?
A21 Clarity-SQL is the only locally developed ERP/Accounting system
running on Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Check what
database engine is provided by your software vendor; and
note you will face challenges if your system uses:-
- Proprietary databases - it can be access only by
your vendor and there is little flexibility to write
custom reports or it is non scalable.
- Flat databases - like DBF files, Access, CSV
files etc that are flat databases and are difficult to support your
business when volume grows. They tend to be unstable
and are slow in performance when multiple users
access these databases.
Do I need to buy Microsoft SQL Server
license?
No, you can use the free edition of Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Express Edition. Though this version has some limitations; data size
of 4 GB running single-core processor and 25 concurrent users, it is
sufficient for most companies.
How long
does it takes to complete A21 Clarity-SQL training?
It takes 6 hours to complete the training for base system and
typically 12 hours if Inventory, Sales and Purchase are involved.

What is the system
requirement to install A21 Clarity-SQL?
Your computer system must be installed with either Windows Vista,
Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or Windows 7.
A21 Clarity-SQL requires at least 1024 MB of memory to run. It is
suggested to run on 2 GB of memory especially on resource hungry OS
like Win Vista. The performance of A21 Clarity-SQL is greatly
affected by the availability of the system memory, the more memory,
the system will perform faster.
We recommend that your computer have at least a Pentium-4 processor;
which otherwise even your Windows (without our program) may even run
sluggishly.
What
is the price range for A21 Clarity-SQL?
A21 Clarity-SQL
starts from $1,500 and you may buy additional concurrent
user licenses, add-on modules whenever you need to.
